HANU' BERARILOR CASA OPREA SOARE

The inn is named after one of the wealthiest merchants of Little Paris, Dumitru Oprea Soare, who built the house on the land inherited from his father.

From an architectural point of view, the current restaurant building belongs to the neo-Romanesque style, reminiscent of old manor houses, but also of monumental buildings, such as the Stavropoleos monastery in Bucharest or the Curtea de Argeș monastery.

The charm of the Sun House led Vintilă Brătianu to declare that it is one of the private buildings that proved that "one can very well create a civil architecture with a national character".

The beer hall is one with tradition, loved by all Bucharesters and is also the ideal place where friendships begin their long journey and existing ones fructify their memories. The meat platters and the micii are the products much requested by customers, and beer is always the one that completes the landscape.

You're welcome!
